Sometimes I get so frustrated, even irritated with myself while trying to be as good as Jesus. I know I’ve got to stay connected to Him. I need to spend time enjoying Him, studying His words and learning to live like He did, in humble submission to my heavenly Daddy. I truly do want to treasure my relationship with Him.

In our personal lives, we ourselves need to “walk worthy of the [divine] calling to which we’ve been called [with behavior that is a credit to the summons of God’s service…” (Eph 4:1)
What qualifies as walking worthy? In a nutshell, Jesus’ life qualifies. He’s our example. How did He live?

I already wrote a little on this in one of the lasts posts, but I thought I could expand a little more on it.
Knowing all about prophecy, current events or the Bible is very important, but it means absolutely nothing if we don’t walk in love (1 Corinthians 13), if our lives don’t line up with God’s word, if the way we live is not transformed by the knowledge and if it doesn’t compel us to win and strengthen souls.
